UPSC- Civil Services Examination 2023
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023 notification. Through this notification, applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the posts of various civil services. Through this advertisement, 1105 jobs will be filled. Candidates should have passed any degree. Candidates studying in final year of degree are also eligible.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed any degree or equivalent course. Candidates studying in final year of degree are also eligible.
Age Limit:
Candidates age should be 21 years as on 01-08-2023. Also should not exceed 32 years. That means born between 02-08-1991 to 01-08-2002. There is relaxation in age limit for reserved category.
Number of Attempts:
Six for General, nine for OBCs and Persons with Disabilities (GL, EWS, OBC).
Unlimited for SC/ ST candidates.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test (prelims, mains), interview, rule of reservation.
Exam Pattern:
There are two papers in the preliminary exam. Each paper will carry 200 marks in 2 hours. These exams are held in two sessions, morning and afternoon. In both the papers the questions will be objective type multiple choice. The second paper will be General Studies qualifying paper. 33 percent of which has to be qualified. There will also be negative marking. Candidates who qualify in prelims will be allowed to write mains. Mains exams will be of 1750 marks. Finally the Personality Test (Interview) will be of 275 marks. UPSC conducts exams for total 2025 marks.

Application Fee: Rs.100 for OBC/other candidates (fee waived for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Primary Examination Centers in AP and Telangana States: Anantapur, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Warangal.
Major Exam Centers in AP and Telangana States: Hyderabad, Vijayawada.
