Eligibility:

Must have passed 10th standard. Maths, English and local language are mandatory. It means that students from AP and Telangana must study Telugu subject up to class 10th. Cycling must have come along with computer knowledge.

Age: Should be between 18-40 years as on 16-02-2023. Maximum age relaxation is 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBCs and 10 years for disabled persons.

Salary Allowances: Rs.12,000 – Rs.29,380 per month for BPM posts; ABPM/Doc Sevak posts will have a salary of Rs.10,000 – Rs.24,470.

Selection Process: Candidates will be recruited based on the merit of marks obtained in class 10th. The advertisement mentions the branches having vacancies, in which post, reserved/unreserved details. Candidates should check them and give options according to their preference. Option 1 for the first preference followed by Option 2… should be filled like this. Depending on the opportunity, one of these postings will be allotted. Shortlisted candidates will receive information through SMS/email/post.

Application Fee: No fee payment for SC, ST, Disabled, Transwomen. Remaining candidates have to pay Rs. 100

Branch Post Master (BPM): Candidates for this post have to supervise the activities of the concerned branch. In addition to postal duties, India Post Payment Bank affairs should also be taken care of. Maintenance of records, online transactions, smooth running of day-to-day operations, delivery of letters. Marketing affairs related to postal should also be fixed. Lead the respective branch as a team leader. Postal schemes should be taken to the people.

Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM): Those who join this job have to look after the sale of stamps/stationery, distribution of letters, deposits, payments and other transactions related to Indian Post Payment Bank. The tasks assigned by the Branch Postmaster should be completed. People should be made aware about various schemes.

Dak Sevak: Those engaged in these duties should distribute letters. Also stamps/stationery should be sold. Complete the tasks prescribed by BPM and ABPM. Duties of Railway Mail Service, Postal Payment Bank should be taken care of. Postal schemes should be promoted.
