Job Description:

uni-assist e.V., the work and service center for international study applications, is an association supported by around 150

German universities and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for the preliminary examination of international study applications.

As a nationwide competence center for international university admissions in Germany, uni-assist e.V. processes more than half of the total international application volume at German universities – around 300,000 applications from over 180 countries every year.

We support the qualification and development of specialists and executives for existing and future needs in Germany, Europe and around the world.

Because uni-assist places foreign applicants at German universities and is so actively involved in imparting knowledge and skills that will later form the basis of our future in our world.

The office of uni-assist e.V. in Berlin is looking for information and support for international prospective students as of March 1, 2023 limited to August 31, 2023

to support our winter semester procedure 2023: Several employees (f/m/d) for the application service.

The weekly working time is 20 hours during the two induction weeks,  after which the weekly working time is usually 39.4 hours.

A part-time option is available. We will provide you with the necessary service expertise and how to use our software in a paid training and induction phase lasting approx. 4 weeks.

Your task will be to inform and support international applicants by email and on the service telephone. You will process inquiries about the uni-assist test procedure, the online application and the test results with the support of our in-house software system.

 

What we expect from you:


* Secondary school leaving certificate, 
Abitur or technical college entrance
 qualification
* Distinct service or customer orientation,
 ideally with experience in customer service 
or a service center or in student counseling
* Excellent written and oral communication 
skills in German and English, preferably in 
intercultural contexts
* Knowledge and experience of working with
 modern IT and communication systems, e.g. B. 
knowledge management or video conference systems,
 databases, mail
* High willingness to learn, resilience,
 reliability and ability to work in a team
* Study experience at universities and stays
 abroad are an advantage; as well as professional
 experience or internships in higher education
 or other educational areas
